Mubasher: Ras Girtas Power Company on Sunday announced signing a long-term agreement with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS).
The 15-year agreement amounted to QAR 630 million ($174.9 million), according to Ras Girtas Power’s statement.
Under the agreement, Mitsubishi, the world leading supplier of equipment and services to the power generation market, will provide Ras Girtas Power with long-term maintenance services and spare parts, in addition to maintenance of Ras Girtas Power’s units.
It is worth noting that Ras Girtas has another long-term deal with Mitsubishi that will be ended by the first quarter of 2019.
