Cairo - Mubasher: The Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is considering to present the Ras Sidr Airport project to investors at the beginning of fiscal year 2017/2018, according to Serag Eldin Saad, chief executive of the TDA.
On the sidelines of the Government Business Dialogue 2017 conference on Tuesday, Saad added that legal procedures will be finalised to speed up the offering of investment areas within a short time and facilitate licensing.
The project is expected to be completed on 6 million square metres.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had previously issued a presidential decree allocating 4,711 acres, affiliated to the General Authority for Tourism Development, to the Egyptian Airports Company for the establishment of Ras Sidr Airport.
