Cairo - Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of Raya Contact Center showed a surge in annual profits by 293.55% last year, according to a bourse filing.
The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday that profits totalled EGP 118.45 million in 2016, compared to EGP 30.1 million in the year before.
Independent profits increased by 177% to EGP 97.04 million in the previous year compared to EGP 35.02 million in 2015.
In a separate statement, the company revealed that it has achieved foreign exchange gains of EGP 92.78 million after freeing exchange rates.
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) said Thursday that the initial public offering (IPO) of Raya Contact Center was covered 10.36 times.
Total purchase orders amounted to 50.7 million shares, according to a statement.
The company had earlier offered 44.09 million shares for subscription.
