Raya Holding EGM OKs EGP 58.3m capital hike

Cairo – Mubasher: Raya Contact Center on Thursday said that its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) has agreed to raise the company’s issued capital to EGP 111.36 million from EGP 53.03 million.

The EGM has approved an EGP 58.3 million capital increase distributed over 116.6 million shares at a par value of EGP 0.5 per share, Raya added in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The EGM also endorsed the distribution of 0.5-for-1 basis bonus share distribution, totalling 106.06 million shares, while the remaining 10.6 million shares will be allocated for the reward and remuneration system, the company highlighted.

Raya's shareholders also approved the amendment of Articles 6 and 7 of the company’s articles of association, according to the statement.

Raya Holding last posted a 12% year-on-year increase in its consolidated profits for the first nine months of 2018, recording EGP 138.7 million in net profit, up from EGP 123.9 million.
