Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Wednesday’s session rising by 0.84% or 88.83 points to the level of 10,688.78 points.
Trading volume increased to 13.1 million shares from 7.7 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also grew to QAR 353.14 million from QAR 244.33 million.
The real estate sector advanced 2.53% as United Development and Ezdan Holding leapt by 4.93% and 2.29% respectively.
The banking sector grew 0.53% due to an increase of 3.44% in Alijarah.
The industrial sector levelled up 0.1%, backed by a rise of 2.43% in Qatar Industrial Manufacturing, while Industries Qatar topped losers after falling by 0.83%.
Qatar Cinema led the green list with a 9.84% rise.
Mazaya Qatar made the highest activity with a trading volume of 2.03 million shares exchanged at QAR 30 million.
