Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session down, pressured by the drop of the real estate and industrial sectors.
By 10:46 am Qatar time, the main index inched down 8.91 points, or 0.03 %, to 8,922 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 582.6 million after 2.9 million shares changed hands through 495 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 1.23%, followed by the industrial sector, which retreated 0.68%.
Meanwhile, the banking and insurance sectors added 0.28% and 1.33%, respectively.
