Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.63% or 63.42 points to reach 10,000.22 points in Wednesday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, most of the sectors declined, with the exception of the telecoms and insurance sector which inched up 0.06% and 0.01%, respectively.
The real estate sector retreated 4.94% as Ezdan Holding Group slid 7.88%, followed by Barwa with 0.86%, and Mazaya Qatar with 0.41%.
The industrials sector dropped 0.99% after Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC), Industries Qatar, and Qatari Investors Group lost 2.1%, 1.23%, and 0.53%, respectively.
Traded volume reached 2.11 million shares, with a liquidity of QAR 35.29 million through 534 transactions.
Ezdan’s stock was the most active in terms of trading volume with 1.07 million shares exchanged, at a turnover of QAR 11.82 million.
