Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.1% or 10.29 points to reach 10,001.96 points in Thursday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, most of the sectors went up, with the exception of the banks sector which fell 0.33%.
The real estate sector gained 0.59% as Barwa Real Estate grew 1.7%.
The consumer goods and services sector increased 0.41% after Qatar Fuel (Woqod) levelled up 1.35%.
On the flipside, the Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), Qatar National Bank (QNB), and Doha Bank decreased 1.02%, 1%, and 0.81%, respectively.
Liquidity reached QAR 31.25 million after 789,510 shares were traded through 439 transactions.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of traded volume with 167,190 shares exchanged, while Industries Qatar led in terms of trading value with a liquidity of QAR 14.35 million.
