Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Monday on a negative note after the fall in in most of its sectors topped by real estate and energy.
The index declined 1.02% or 45.8 points to the level of 4,460.35 points.
Trading volume reached 47.9 million shares exchanged at AED 57.6 million through executing 547 transactions.
The real estate was the worst performing sector with a fall of 3.25% as Aldar shrank 3.35%.
The energy sector also plummeted by 2.3%, affected by a 3.5% decrease in Dana Gas.
The investment sector slid 1.9% as Waha Capital declined by the same percentage.
The telecom sector shrank moved 0.27% down as Etisalat fell by the same percentage.
The bourse’s benchmark index closed yesterday’s session with a fall of 0.82%.
