Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti banking systems granted 621 loans in October at KWD 26 million, according to a report issued by Kuwait Credit Banks.
Loans for purchasing houses reached 65, with a total estimate of KWD 4.3 million of which KWD 2.8 million only were paid.
Loans for expanding and refurbishing state houses stood at 142 totaling KWD 3.5 million, of which KWD 4.3 million were paid.
Credit facilities given to different local sectors rose 8.4% by the end of 2015/16
