Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Monday, as the real estate sector grow backed by Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties.
The DFMGI rose 0.21% or 6.37 points to reach 3,032.42 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The UAE markets are expected to hold at their current levels amid a volatile trend that has been prevailinglately, analysts earlier told Mubasher.
Turnover reached AED 30.2 million after 32.4 million shares were traded through 524 transactions.
The real estate sector rose 0.5% as Arabtec and Emaar went up 0.95% and 0.35% in a row.
The investment sector advanced 0.33% after Dubai Investments levelled up 0.52%, while DFM Company remained unchanged.
The banks sector grew 0.13%, backed by Amlak Finance which increased 3.2%.
On the flipside, the telecom sector fell 0.6% as du slid 0.6% to AED 5.03.
