Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday in the green after its main index gained more than 40 points, or 0.41%, reaching 9,973.97 points.
The bourse’s traded volume increased 21.2% to 9.66 million shares, from 7.97 million shares on Monday, while liquidity jumped 12.8%, reaching QAR 234.71 million, compared to QAR 208.07 million.
The real estate sector rose 2.4%, whereas the consumer goods and services sector inched down 0.39%, followed closely by banks and financial services sector with 0.37%.
Ezdan Holding Group’s stock led gainers with 4.35%, whereas Medicare Group’s stock fell 4.1%.
Industries Qatar’s stock, up 3.2%, was the most active in terms of trading value after generating QAR 30.4 million, while Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding’s stock, up 1.8%, was the most active in terms of traded volumes with 1.48 million shares exchanged.
