Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session in the green.
By 10:05 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.47% to 10,708.62 points, adding 50.4 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 91 million after 2.5 million shares were traded through 1,600 transactions.
The real estate sector topped gainers with 1.7%, while the transportation sector headed losers after falling 0.12%.
The heavyweight Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which rose 0.25%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 24.43 million, while QAMCO’s stock, which plunged 0.54%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 492,400 shares.
