Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a downward trend in Monday's early trades, weighed by the real estate stocks.
The DFMGI lost 0.5% or 18.23 points to reach 3,368.66 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the worst performer after losing 0.9%, weighed by Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties which fell 1.8% and 0.9%, respectively.
The services sector retreated 0.7% as Tabreed went down 0.86%.
The consumer staples sector slid 0.68% due to a decline in Dubai Investments by 0.7%.
The banks sector levelled down 0.08% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) decreased 0.2%.
The market saw trading of 134 million shares through 1,660 transactions, with turnover of AED 171.26 million ($46.63 million).
