Real estate stocks push DFM higher at Monday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Monday’s trading session in the green zone.

The DFMGI added 0.84% or 28.31 points to reach 3,411.62 points by 11:00 am UAE time.

The insurance sector grew 2.58% as Dar Al Takaful, AMAN, and Salama levelled up 7.55%, 8.82%, and 4.34%, respectively.

The consumer staples sector rose 1.55% after DXB Entertainments gained 1.75%.

The real estate sector climbed 0.95% as Damac Properties, Emaar Properties, Arabtec Holding, and Union Properties went up 2.80%, 1.16%, 1.04%, and 1.32%, respectively.

The investment sector grew 0.65% after SHUAA Capital, DFM Company, and Dubai Investments gained 5.08%, 1.80%, and 0.48%, respectively.

Turnover reached AED 138.91 million after trading 93.025 million shares through 1,584 transactions.
