Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) witnessed losses in Monday’s early trades, pressured by the performance of real estate stocks, especially Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties.
The DFMGI went down 0.5% or 18.70 points to reach 3,382.33 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector retreated 4% after Dubai Parks and Resorts fell 3.5%.
The real estate sector decreased 0.9% as Arabtec and Emaar levelled down 2.3% and 0.3% in a row.
The investment sector slid 1.4% due to a 1.8% decline in Dubai Investments.
The banks sector retreated 0.07% after Amlak fell 1.4%.
As for stocks, Amanat Holding topped gainers with a 4.6% rise.
The market saw trading of 160.4 million shares through 1,720 transactions, with turnover of AED 176.8 million.
