Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw gains in Wednesday’s early trades, backed by the rise of the real estate and investment sectors.
The DFMGI rose 0.85% or 27.65 points to 3,275.25 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the top gainer after adding 1.5%, spurred by Emaar Properties and Emaar Malls Group which advanced 1.9% each.
The investment sector grew 1.4% as Dubai Investments went up 1.5%.
On the flipside, the telecom sector led losers with a 0.5% decline, pressured by the fall of du.
The transportation sector decreased 0.4% due to a decline in Air Arabia.
Turnover reached AED 171.25 million after trading 190.2 million shares through 1,919 transactions.
