Riyadh – Mubasher: The Red Sea Project will receive the first visitor by the end of 2022, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday, citing John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea Development Company.
The announcement took place on the sidelines of the Future of Investment 2019 (FII) that was launched in Riyadh on Tuesday, 29 October.
Pagano said that the company will achieve this goal through innovation that will guide their destination, employing and harnessing technology to serve and grow nature where travellers of tourist destinations in this era are looking for meaningful, responsible and unique experiences.
On Tuesday, the CEO pointed out that the company plans to deliver a 30% increase in conservation attempts over the coming 20 years.
Pagano added that sustainability and conservation are at the heart of the company's The Red Sea Project, noting that the process by which the resort location was chosen as evidence.
