Cairo – Mubasher: Remittances from expatriate Egyptians increased by $227.1 million, or 5.5%, year-on-year during July and August, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Monday.
Remittances of Egyptians abroad amounted to $4.4 billion during the first two months of fiscal year 2019/2020, compared to $4.2 billion in the year-ago period, the data showed.
