Remittances from expats in Kuwait fall 13% in Q1

Mubasher: Remittances from expatriate workers in Kuwait decreased 13% for the first quarter of 2018, according to sources at exchange companies.  

Foreign workers' remittances in the GCC nation went down 9% to KWD 4.14 billion during the full-year 2017, compared to KWD 4.56 billion a year earlier, official data showed.

Monthly remittances of expatriate workers reached an average of $626 per capita, that has recently dropped to $545, sources told daily newspaper Al-Qabas.
