Remittances volume for Enjaz to rise 50% through AlBilad Net

Riyadh – Mubasher: Money transfer service through the internet, in collaboration with Western Union, will increase the volume of money remittances for Enjaz division by 50% at least, Bank AlBilad CEO, Abdulaziz Al-Onaizan, told Mubasher.

The service will work through an electronic link between the bank's clients and their loved ones in all over the world through their accounts, Al-Onaizan noted.

He added that the clients will be able to send to more than 550 agent locations of Western Union in more than 200 countries and territories

"We believe that digital channels are the future of banking through which we can offer our customers the best and most convenient services. Currently Enjaz provides innovative services through 179 branch across the Kingdom,” the general manager of Enjaz division, Ahmed Al Enazi, said on the sidelines of the press conferences held by Banl AlBilad on Sunday.

Remittances from Saudi Arabia amounted to SAR 156.9 billion in 2015, while the Kingdom ranked the world’s second largest remittance-sending country after the US, according to the World Bank's figures.
