Dubai – Mubasher: Restaurant Secrets Inc. (RSI) announced that it has acquired the lease and operating rights of five restaurants from Emaar Hospitality Group, a wholly-owned hospitality and leisure business subsidiary of Emaar Properties.
The acquisition included a brand new concept called The Loft at Dubai Opera, RSI, a Dubai-based restaurant consultancy, said.
The bid also included the French-inspired restaurant, La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie, and two additional restaurants joining RSI’s portfolio in the first quarter of 2019, according to the group’s statement.
“Part of our vision is to reform the region’s lifestyle dining scene, and take it to greater heights by bringing experiential dining to the forefront,” Ralph Homer, CEO and co-founder of RSI, said.
By completing the transaction, RSI raises its portfolio to more than 15 restaurants and food concepts in the pipeline for 2019-2020, following the firm’s expansion plan across Dubai.
Since 2008, RSI has developed 200 restaurant concepts across the UAE, GCC and London.
The company did not give further details regarding the acquisition's total cost.
