Cairo - Mubasher: Returns on the Egyptian 91-day treasury bills went up to its highest level in a month, as shown by the data of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE said on Sunday that the average return for the 91-day bills rose to 19.09%, and was oversubscribed by 230%, reaching its highest level since 5 September.
Meanwhile, the average return on the 266-day bills registered 18.32%, with oversubscription reaching 270%.
The central bank previously announced that it will issue EGP 13.75 billion worth of t-bills on Sunday.
The Egyptian Ministry of Finance (MoF) will issue debt instruments with a total value of EGP 371 billion during the first quarter of fiscal year 2017-2018, between July and September.
