Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: UK-based Rexton Technologies will inaugurate the largest plant for manufacturing and designing light-emitting diode (LED) at the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF) next week.
Rexton will also establish a digital laboratory specialising in LED technologies, the company said, highlighting that plant opening will take place next Monday.
A subsidiary of Kingston Holdings, Rexton revealed that it will invest up to AED 60 million in the two projects.
“The company is keen to participate in the green initiatives and energy efficiency and sound environmental policies & innovation initiatives adopted by various countries such as the UAE,” Kingston Holdings’ chairman and managing director Lalu Samuel said.
The top official further revealed that the new manufacturing unit had a capacity to manufacture 100,000 recessed fittings, 150,000 batten fittings, and a number of commercial weatherproof fittings, high bays, and floodlights.
