Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt-based ride-hailing company Dubci is set to launch within the coming few weeks, according to a statement.
The new ride-hailing firm confirmed that it is totally owned by Egyptian businessmen, denying reports that it is affiliated to the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) or the Egyptian government.
In March, Uber Technologies Inc signed a deal to acquire its ride-sharing competitor in the Middle East Careem for $3.1 billion.
