Riyadh – Mubasher: Riyadh Metro on Thursday announced the beginning of pilot operation for its Red Line located on the King Abdullah Road, the state-run utility said on Twitter.
The metro covers an area of 176,000 kilometres, while it includes 85 stations, Riyadh Metro’s authority added.
On 15 November, the Riyadh Development Authority’s (RDA) CEO Tariq Bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris announced that eight major firms and banks won a tender for naming rights of a number of Riyadh Metro stations.
