Riyadh - Mubasher: Arriyadh Development Authority (ADA) announced on Thursday that 45% of the Riyadh Metro project has been completed.
The company added that 91% of the project’s electric infrastructure has been completed by the Saudi Electricity Company.
According to Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, ADA chairman, more than 16 kilometers of rails, and over 45 kilometres of bridges have been established.
Four new electric stations were also built while another eight are currently under construction.
The statement also indicated that 41 out of the project’s 191 wagons have been delivered by Siemens, Bombardier, and Alstom.
