Rove Hotels launches Rove King Abdullah Economic City

Dubai - Mubasher: Rove Hotels, a joint venture of Meraas and Emaar Properties, on Monday unveiled its first hotel in Saudi Arabia in Rove King Abdullah Economic City.  

With a capacity of 240 rooms, Rove King Abdullah Economic City hotel comprises fitness centres and various lifestyle amenities, according to a company statement.

“Rove King Abdullah Economic City brings the innovative concept of contemporary midscale hospitality experiences to the Kingdom,” said Olivier Harnisch, Emaar Hospitality Group’s CEO.

The hotel’s construction work is projected to start in the second quarter of 2018 and to be soft-opened in the fourth quarter of 2019, Rove Hotels revealed.

“Rove Hotels is addressing the industry ‘white space’ through a new hotel concept that not only helps address the gap in midscale hotel rooms but also creates vibrant social spaces for the young tech-savvy Saudis,” Paul Bridger, Rove Hotels’ corporate director of operations, commented.
