Riyadh – Mubasher: Russia's Sovereign wealth fund is weighing up investments in Novatek's Arctic liquefied natural gas (LNG) 2 project with the Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known globally as Saudi Aramco, the head of the head of RDIF said.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), in collaboration with the Saudi state-run oil giant, may inject more investments in the LNG 2 project in Arctic over the coming period, Kirill Dmitriev told Reuters.
Over the previous week, media sources reported that Aramco, the world's largest oil producer, was in talks with Japan’s Mitsui & Co and the RDIF to purchase a stake in Russia’s Novatek’s Arctic LNG 2 project.
