Mubasher: The Russian government has negated any suggestions that Russia could eventually buy back the stake in Rosneft which it previously sold to Qatar, according to Reuters.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, called these rumors not possible and incorrect, as quoted by Reuters on Wednesday.
In December, Rosneft announced that it has signed a deal with Qatar Investment Authority and Glencore to sell a 19.5% stake in the government-owned company.
