Cairo – Mubasher: The flights between Moscow and Cairo are expected to resume in the first half of February 2018, the Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov stated on Friday, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Sharif Fathi visited Moscow on Thursday to hold talks regarding the resumption of flight between Egypt and Russia in February, MENA reported.
Air transport between Egypt and Russia was suspended after a Russian plane crashed over Sinai on 31 October 2015, resulting in a death toll of 224 people.
