Mubasher: The international rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has affirmed the Long/short-term Issuer Credit Ratings of Mumtalakat Bahrain at “BBB-/A-3” respectively, with a “Negative” outlook.
S&P thinks that the Bahraini government would support Mumtalakat in case of a financial crisis.
The rating agency said that its negative outlook for Mumtalakat was based on the credit rating and expectations for Bahrain, since the company is partially owned by the state.
