Doha-Mubasher: Standard & Poor's Financial Services (S&P) said Sunday that it has affirmed its long-term corporate credit rating on Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) at ‘AA-‘ with a stable outlook.
In its report released on 18 August, S&P highlighted Nakilat’s key role in Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry, and the company’s ownership of the world’s largest LNG fleet and solid operating performance, according to a bourse filing.
The rating firm revised Nakilat’s liquidity profile from adequate to strong, which highlighted the company’s importance to the Qatari economy and LNG value chain.
