Mubasher: Standard and Poor’s (S&P) has lowered its long-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit rating on Oman to ‘BB’ from ‘BB+', according to a recent report.
The ratings agency said on Friday that Oman's ratings are constrained by its dependence on the hydrocarbon sector, despite efforts to diversify its economy.
