S&P revises Egypt outlook to “Stable

Cairo – Mubasher: Standard and Poor's (S&P), on Friday, has revised Egypt’s sovereign credit outlook from “Negative” to “Stable”, and maintained its rating at “BB”.

The revision comes after the Egyptian Central Bank's decision to float the pound and lifting energy subsidy.

The rating agency expected the Egyptian economy to grew by 4% in 2019 after implementing the financial reforms.
