Riyadh – Mubasher: Emerson, an international automation technology and engineering NYSE-listed company, has signed a seven-year strategic agreement with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
Under the agreement, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Emerson will help SABIC adopt digital transformation programmes to optimize operations and improve its productivity by benefitting from the automation technologies and services, according to a recent press release.
Commenting on the agreement, the SABIC GPS general manager, Abdullah Al Garni, said: “As SABIC is continuously racing to enhance and move operations toward excellence, I’m happy and proud to establish such a strategic partnership with Emerson, which will definitely be a big part in this transformation journey.”
