Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) signed a renewable six-month memorandum of understanding (MoU) with United Chemical Kazakhstan to study developing a petrochemical complex, according to a statement.
To be located in Atyrau in Kazakhstan, the new complex will be subject to regulatory approvals.
The project is part of the Saudi petrochemical giant’s strategy to achieve geographical diversification and expansions in new markets.
