SABIC’s innovative centres reach 19 globally, 4 in KSA - Chairman

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) is moving forward with its strategy for 2025 and seeks to present both local and global markets with new and innovative solutions to become a global leader in the petrochemicals field, said chairman and prince Saud bin Abdullah.

Speaking at SABIC’s inauguration of the “Home of Innovation” in Riyadh late Sunday, the top official highlighted that his company has established 19 technology and innovation centres around the world, and is currently working on transforming knowledge into creative solutions to meet the needs of its customers.

A total of four innovative centres are located in Saudi Arabia, the chairman revealed, adding that the latest addition was SABIC’s Centre for the development of plastics.

The company is also taking into consideration the reduction of its costs and keeping pace with the ongoing rapid changes in the business environment, he noted.
