Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) seeks to develop the kingdom's manufacturing industries in order to offer a significant added value to customers, said Sami Al-Osaimi, vice president, polymers strategic business unit.
"We own the raw materials and 19 research centres spreading across the world. Thus, we can support local manufacturers through our technologies and top-notch technical applications," he said.
On the sidelines of the 13th Saudi Exhibition for Plastics and Petrochemicals, Al-Osaimi said the plastic and petrochemical industries recorded stronger growth in 2015, coinciding with demand growth in the local market.
