Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) has raised the prices of some steel products by SAR 100 per tonne, Alriyadh newspaper reported.
The outlets started to sell at the new prices this week. The 8-mm and 10-mm steel prices rose to SAR 1,950 ($519.91) from SAR 1,850 ($493.25) per tonne, while the prices of 12-mm, 14-mm and 16-mm steel remained unchanged at SAR 1,880 ($501.25) per tonne.
The steel prices have been falling on a monthly basis since mid-2015.
In September 2015, the company lowered the rebar prices by SAR 200 ($53.32) per tonne.
