Mubasher: The assets of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) went down by 1.1% year-on-year during September to SAR 1.921 trillion ($512.38 billion) when compared to SAR 1.942 trillion ($517.99 billion) in September 2018.
The assets were affected by lower foreign securities investments by 1% to SAR 1.198 trillion ($319.34 billion) in September, compared to SAR 1.21 trillion ($322.69 billion) in the corresponding month in 2018, SAMA recently disclosed.
Month-on-month, SAMA’s assets decreased by 1.16% in September, while registering SAR 1.944 trillion ($518.37 billion) in August 2019.
