Cairo – Mubasher: The chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), Mohab Mamish, on Thursday discussed opportunities for Mercedes-Benz, a division of German company Daimler AG, to resume its operations in the Egyptian market.
During his tour in Germany, Mamish met with Daimler’s head of manufacturing and foreign affairs to discuss the investment incentives that the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) provides to investors in this field, according to a statement by the SCA.
The SCZone has highly specified new ports and terminals, which makes it capable of covering major activities such as the RORO terminal.
Mamish will be visiting the Frankfurt Motor Show, which is attended by Germans chancellor Angela Merkel, as a part of his promotional tour for the SCZone in Germany.
