Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is studying a number of requests of initial public offerings (IPOs), Al Khaleej newspaper quoted acting CEO Obaid Saif Al Zaabi as saying.
The new subscriptions the local stock exchanges will witness this year reflects the stability of oil prices in global markets, Al Zaabi added.
The SCA is working on issuing the new investment funds and preparing the merger system.
In 2016, the SCA approved ten requests for IPOs in UAE bourses.
