Cairo – Mubasher: The senior staff of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) have donated 20% of their monthly salaries for three months to the Tahya Misr 'Long Live Egypt' Fund, SCZone chairman Yehia Zaki announced on Monday.
Zaki referred that the donation aims to contribute to the measures taken by Egypt to tackle the repercussions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which greatly affected self-employed and temporary workers and their families.
The chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone added that this move reflects the authority's efforts to support Egypt's decisions to alleviate the impact of COVID-19 as part of its social responsibility.
