SCZone to ink deal to operate car trade terminal in East Port Said

Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) is close to sign a deal with an alliance comprising French Bolloré Transport & Logistics, Japanese Toyota, and NYK to establish a car trade terminal at the East Port Said Port by the end of 2019, Ahram Gate reported on Monday, citing SCZone’s chairman Yehia Zaki as saying.

In addition, SCZone is also expected to sign the final deal to operate ro-ro terminal in East Port Said Port at a length of 600 metres and with an investment cost of $150 million, Zaki revealed.

In September 2018, SCZone inked a framework agreement worth $220 million with Bolloré Transport & Logistics, Toyota, and NYK to build and operate a car trade terminal at the East Port Said Port.
