Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) on Wednesday announced raising Saudisation for contracting with local factories to 80%.
Purchasing percentage from Saudi factories reached 67%, the state-run utility said.
SEC added that it has raised the percentage of registered local factories by 840% since 2001.
The Saudi electric utility’s profits after calculating Zakat and Tax declined to SAR 1.8 billion for the full year 2018, from SAR 6.91 billion a year earlier.
