Riyadh - Mubasher: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approved the distribution of cash dividends for 2016.
The company will distribute dividends at SAR 0.70 per share or 7% of the nominal value, totalling SAR 547 million, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The eligibility of the dividends will concern registered shareholders at the end of trades on the EGM day.
The EGM also agreed on the board's and auditors’ reports for 2016, in addition to amending the company’s bylaws to be in line with the New Companies Law.
The meeting rejected providing medical services to the board’s members and their families.
