Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Grid SA Co, a subsidiary of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), on Tuesday announced the operation of the power transmission station (132/13.8 KV) in Al Zulfi city, at a total cost exceeding SAR 100 million.
This station will contribute to enhancing the electricity network in the region and providing power services to residential areas and utilities, CEO of the National Grid SA Co Laith Al Bassam said.
The new power plant will also help support providing electricity services to more than 12,000 subscribers, Al Bassam revealed in a statement.
The station was designed in accordance with the latest technology in the field of electricity transmission systems, the CEO added.
