Riyadh - Mubasher: Rotana and SHUAA Capital Saudi Arabia (SCSA), an investment manager, on Wednesday announced the opening of the Centro Waha Riyadh Hotel.
The new hotel includes 290 rooms, studios, and hotel suites as well as three meeting rooms, an integrated fitness club, and a swimming pool for hotel guests, according to a company statement.
The new hotel is the second hospitality project developed by SHUAA Saudi Hospitality Fund I under the Centro by Rotana brand in the Saudi market, SHUAA revealed.
“After the opening of Centro Shaheen in Jeddah last year, Centro Waha Riyadh is another significant milestone in the successful strategic partnership between SHUAA Capital Saudi Arabia and Rotana,” said SHUAA Capital Saudi Arabia’s CEO Omar Al Jaroudi.
“Our partnership with Rotana has already proved to be a winning formula and we look forward to building on this success with the opening of more Centro hotels across the Kingdom,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rotana’s vice chairman Selim El Zyr noted that the opening of the new hotel in the Saudi capital is set to support his company’s hotel offerings and “the diversification of hotel products in the Kingdom’s hospitality sector.”
Rotana, a hotel management company operates in the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, operates over 1,200 keys in Saudi Arabia as well as 880 hotel keys under development.
