Mubasher: Securities and Investment Company UAE (SICO UAE) has joined Nasdaq Dubai as a member to trade equities, according to a statement.
SICO UAE will provide its clients with new investment opportunities on Nasdaq.
The company’s activities include “brokerage, market making, fixed income and equity asset management, corporate finance, and custody and fund administration”.
"We prepare for further listings, including Sharia-compliant issuances, and expansion into new asset classes," according to Hamed Ali, chief executive of Nasdaq Dubai.
The exchange now has 36 members with the arrival of SICO UAE.
